Our Story
A few chapters of thoughtful growth, hard-earned experience, and a promise to make every celebration feel completely personal.
Chapter One
From 2015 to 2019, Bekah earned her degree in Public Relations — with a minor in Communication and a concentration in Hospitality Management — all while shadowing coordination companies and learning the industry from the ground up.
Chapter Two
In 2019, Bekah officially launched her career in the wedding industry and began working full-time in event coordination.
Chapter Three
When COVID-19 struck, the hospitality industry took a major hit. Bekah navigated the uncertainty firsthand, ultimately postponing and rescheduling more than 36 events. Looking back, she believes that season made her stronger and gave her an even deeper appreciation for the industry — a time when small businesses truly rallied together and reminded her just how special this work can be.
Chapter Four
In 2021, weddings were back — and ready to make up for lost time. The industry ramped back up, and Bekah was thrilled to see celebrations return. After everything 2020 had brought, one thing was clear: weddings must continue on.
Chapter Five
In 2022, Tammie and Bekah were honored with the title of “Best Planner of the Year” at the Modern Luxury Diamond Awards — a meaningful recognition of the hard work, passion, and dedication they poured into every celebration.
Chapter Six
In 2023, Bekah continued to refine her career and grow her experience in the wedding industry. During this season, she began praying about the possibility of taking a leap of faith and opening her own wedding planning company.
Chapter Seven
In 2024, her prayers were answered and the vision for her own company began to take shape. Bekah built out her business model, interviewed assistants, prepared her paperwork and contracts, and laid the foundation for what would become her own company — all while working alongside some of the best planners in Georgia.
Chapter Eight
In 2025, Bekah was officially operating under The Finer Side, bringing together a team of talented coordinators and assistants to work alongside her. What started as a prayer and a vision was becoming reality — 2025 was a huge year for The Finer Side.

Bekah

Bekah brings together thoughtful planning, creative vision, and a genuine passion for serving others. While her attention to detail and love for beautiful design help bring each celebration to life, it's the relationships she builds with her couples that mean the most.
For Bekah, wedding planning is about far more than timelines and logistics. It's about creating a trusted friendship, understanding the little details that make each couple unique, and making sure they feel cared for every step of the way.
Known for being the person in the room who refuses to settle for “good enough,” Bekah is a fierce advocate for her couples and the calm presence they can count on when it matters most. Whether she's solving a last-minute detail, celebrating a joyful moment, or leading a bride through a few deep breaths before she walks down the aisle, she is always there to remind her couples to slow down and soak it all in.
When she's not dreaming up wedding details, Bekah enjoys slow mornings at the farmers market with an iced honey milk latte in hand, tending to her garden, cooking with her husband Holden, staying active, and spending time with their two dogs, Dansby and Steele.
Bailey
After earning her degree in Business Administration from American University, Virginia native Bailey Martin built a career in hospitality and events before joining The Finer Side. A lifelong wedding enthusiast, Bailey loves blending thoughtful logistics with genuine celebration to create wedding days that feel effortless for her couples.
Known for her strong attention to detail, calm confidence, and encouraging energy, she approaches every celebration with one goal: allowing couples to be fully present while she handles the details behind the scenes. Whether she's advocating for her couple, anticipating the next step, or cheering them on throughout the day, Bailey considers it a true privilege to be part of one of life's biggest milestones.
When she's not coordinating weddings, Bailey can usually be found buried in a thriller novel, baking cupcakes (pumpkin spice, preferably), exploring new restaurants with her fiancé, Andrew, or cuddling on the couch with her Shih Tzu, Beckett.
Amanda
Amanda Mazzei is an Associate Wedding Planner for The Finer Side. Amanda earned her degree in Business Management with a minor in Hospitality and Event Management from Georgia Southern University, where her passion for weddings and exceptional guest experiences first began.
As an associate planner, she finds joy in the behind-the-scenes details that transform a couple's vision into their dream wedding day. Her favorite part of wedding day is watching months of planning come to life and witnessing the genuine joy shared between each couple and their loved ones.
Known for her thoughtful approach and eye for detail, Amanda is often found with a cup of coffee in one hand and a color-coded timeline in the other. She is dedicated to creating a seamless, elevated experience so couples can relax, soak in every moment, and simply enjoy the day they've always imagined.
